Most courses here have enrollment keys on them. An enrollment key is a word that your instructor will give to you. You use that word like a key to enroll in your course.

Are you new to learning online? The tool used to create the online courses here is called Moodle. Funny name, eh! Moodle is a short name that stands for this big name:

The short name Moodle sounds pretty good now, doesn't it!

Aaaaah! The BEST job in the world. What is it for YOU? The tourism department in Queensland, Australia ran a contest to hire a caretaker of an island! Many thought this was the BEST job in the world and applied. In this unit, we'll watch the videos of some of the applicants, many for whom English is not the first language. You will describe your 'best job' and your classmates will guess what it might be.

What Essential Skills do you use?
Essential Skills are the skills we use every day to carry out tasks at home, in the community, at school, and on the job. In this course, you’ll meet the Essential Skills Investigation (ESI) team. The team will help you explore Essential Skills and uncover how they can affect completion of tasks. You will be part of your own ESI team, working to solve the Essential Skills mysteries.
In this course you will take quizzes to assess your personal hygiene. Over the next six weeks you will be given assignments that will help you improve your personal hygiene and appearance to improve your chances of getting and keeping a job.

This course will help you write letters. You will explore the correct format for Business Letters and Friendly Letters. The assignments will include having you compose and send letters of each type.
You have probably heard of GLOBAL WARMING,

Learn about Budgeting. It is important to know how to do your budgeting. If you are working or if you are on welfare, you need to give your employer or person at the welfare, your bank account number for your pay cheque.

This course will show you some tricks that may help you remember your multiplication facts more easily. You will do activities that give you practice working with the multiplication table. There are no tests. Try it out!

The Blues is the basis for rock and roll, country, jazz, rhythmn and blues, and hip hop. Whatever form of popular music you enjoy, it originated in the Blues. In this course we'll look at the history of Blues music and learn about some of the musicians who shaped it.

This has a wide-ranging effect on those locals who believe in preserving their culture and traditions; as well as, those who are influenced by the lure of increasing their material wealth.
